Powerbank is not a common topic on Blacktubi.com but I am reviewing a really affordable yet decent wireless powerbank that I got recently. This is the Vention FHN 10,000mAh wireless power bank that can support wired fast charging up to 20W and wireless fast charging up to 15W. The unit that I got is the white or cream version which looks really nice and premium. There’s also another color that’s black.

The size of the Vention FHN wireless power bank is very compact at just approximately 11cm x 7.5cm. And, it is designed to sit right below the camera bump of my iPhone 16 Pro that comes with a massive camera bump. With that, you can expect all current iPhones on sale are compatible with the Vention FHN powerbank.
There’s a small screen to indicate the battery percentage of the power bank. All the specifications and certifications are also clearly labeled. This will be really important when you’re traveling as some airports will check the specifications of power banks to ensure compliance and safety.

While the Vention FHN powerbank is slightly thicker to accommodate the wireless charging coil, the overall footprint is still rather compact as it’s much shorter than other 10,000 mAh powerbanks. The thickness is 2cm or approximately 2 units of iPhone 16 Pro stacked together. There’s only one USB-C port and it’s situated on the right side of the power bank.

My favorite feature of the Vention FHN is the foldable phone mount. It’s a really convenient feature when I am traveling and using the phone in the aircraft or during long-distance train rides. The suction power of the magnet is quite strong and it holds my phone steadily even during rough turbulence.
Compatibility and Specs

Vention FHN fully supports wireless charging on iPhone. I’m not sure if it uses the official certified MagSafe protocol but iPhone is showing the MagSafe wireless charging animation when using it. The power bank will get slightly warm when using wireless charging function but that is totally normal.

The power bank can support USB-C fast charging wired up to 20W and we’ve tested and confirm that it can actually charge a MacBook Air and iPad Pro up to 20W reliably. While there are faster charging speeds out there, 20W is actually optimal for a power bank this size with 10,000 mAh capacity.
My only complaint is the USB-C port located on the right side of the device rather than the bottom which may be slightly inconvenient if you are using it to charge other phones without wireless charging function using a cable. However, this is just a minor inconvenience and not deal-breaking.
Closing Thoughts

After using the Vention FHN wireless power bank for several weeks, I’m impressed by its value proposition. It strikes an excellent balance between portability, functionality, and price. The magnetic wireless charging and foldable mount make it particularly useful for iPhone users on the go, while the 20W wired charging capability ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices.
